One of our favorite places in Bali was a place called Ubud. It is located in the central mountainous section of the island and a lot of artists have congregated here; a lot of galleries, shops, and museums are here.
This is the location in Ulu Watu where the movie "Papillon" was filmed; the last scene where Steve McQueen jumps off the cliff.
